Unilever has expanded a Durban factory expected to supply 80% of its global Vaseline Petroleum Jelly volume.

The approximately $6 million investment adds a fourth packing line, processing equipment and bulk storage.
The expansion comes as the longstanding skincare brand attracts new consumers through social media and product innovation.
The factory’s increased share concerns petroleum jelly specifically, rather than the entire Vaseline skincare range.
