🇿🇦 KARL SANDER, WE SALUTE YOU 🇿🇦

Image
For more than four decades, Warrant Officer Karl Sander has dedicated his life to serving South Africa and combating organised crime, often under difficult and dangerous circumstances. Today, many current and former colleagues speak of a man who earned respect not through rank or political connections, but through hard work, experience, integrity, and an unwavering commitment to the badge. If the allegations emerging before the Madlanga Commission prove to be true, South Africans will be forced to confront an uncomfortable question: How do we treat those who refuse to cross the line when corruption comes knocking? While others may have chosen the easy road, Karl Sander is widely regarded by those who worked alongside him as a man who remained true to his oath. The Madlanga Commission will determine the facts, but one thing is already clear: honest and dedicated police officers deserve recognition, protection, and support—not victimisation. To every officer who has chosen integr...

Today marks one year since Chanelle Plaatjies' body was found, bringing a heartbreaking end to weeks of searching and uncertainty for her family. Chanelle was last seen on 14 May 2025. She was only reported missing two weeks later, on 28 May. In the days that followed, her family and members of the Paarl East community came together in a desperate effort to find her.
