The Austrian believes the team’s current situation is much more difficult, with the RB22 still lacking the pace and consistency needed to fight at the front. Although Red Bull introduced major upgrade packages in Miami and Austria that reduced the performance gap from around 1.2 seconds to just a few tenths, Marko says their rivals have also made significant progress.
