 Two teenagers, aged 17 and 19, were allegedly attempting to hijack a motorist when they were shot dead in Alexandra on Monday night. The two high-school learners were found near Madala Hostel, still wearing their school-uniform socks.

Police have not confirmed the hijacking allegation, and the circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
