✅ Replaced a faulty neutral causing a power failure in Nicosia Lane, #Reedville
✅ Fault finding and repair of a burnt neutral wire causing low voltage in Finch Street, #Edelweiss
✅ Safety repairs completed in Geduld after a customer reported electric shocks at 13 1st Avenue
✅ Streetlight repairs in Ward 13, including burnt cable replacement and pole cover installation
✅ Electricity successfully restored in Moepshe, #Thokoza, after technicians replaced a blown fuse and restored the missing phase

 Tuesday 5 May 2026 #WANTED The #HAWKS members from Pietermaritzburg Serious Commercial Crime Investigation are seeking information on the whereabouts of Gugu Maria Zikalala (55), who is wanted in connection with a fraud case. In March 2015, Zikalala is alleged to have submitted a false affidavit to the Master of the High Court in Pietermaritzburg, falsely claiming she was eligible for appointment as executor of the estate of the late Nqobile Minenhle Ndlovu and falsely claiming to be her biological mother. Zikalala also submitted a death certificate for the late Thulani Michael Ndlovu, the biological father of Nqobile Minenhle Ndlovu. Her application sought access to the minor’s guardian funds, amounting R243 983.09. The Hawks are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Gugu Maria Zikalala.
