Residents of Ekurhuleni are urged to use water sparingly as Rand Water undertakes planned maintenance from 29 May to 02 June 2026, with a further maintenance period on 17 July 2026.
This essential work will help improve the reliability and efficiency of our water supply systems, but may result in temporary supply interruptions.
Let’s all do our part to conserve water during this period—every drop counts. 💙

The matter stems from events that unfolded in the early hours of 17 December 2022. The accused was involved in a motor vehicle collision with Joshua Rock. Following the collision, he retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and threatened Rock.
