Fadiel Adams was arrested on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, in Cape Town, South Africa. He was arrested by the Political Killings Task Team (PKTT) after failing to comply with a warrant issued for his arrest related to allegations of fraud and obstructing the course of justice in connection with the murder investigation into the late ANC Youth League leader Sindiso Magaqa.

Fadiel Adams is expected to appear in court on Wednesday. He has been transported from Cape Town to KwaZulu-Natal for this court appearance.

Police investigations are continuing.
