Alex Pereira v Ciryl Gane

Alex Pereira, also known as "Poatan," is a Brazilian professional mixed martial artist and former professional kickboxer. He currently competes in the Light Heavyweight division of the UFC, where he is the former two-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion and former UFC Middleweight Champion. Pereira is the ninth fighter in UFC history to become champion in two different weight divisions and the first to become champion in both the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions of the organization. He is also the first and only fighter to have held Glory titles in two weight classes simultaneously. Pereira is regarded as one of the greatest combat athletes of all time.

Pereira's career began in kickboxing, where he became a Glory middleweight and light heavyweight champion. He has also competed in promotions such as It's Showtime and Superkombat Fighting Championship in kickboxing, and for Jungle Fight and Legacy Fighting Alliance in MMA.

Pereira's professional MMA debut was against Quemuel Ottoni on October 23, 2015, and he made his UFC debut on November 5, 2021, at UFC 268. He became the UFC middleweight champion on November 11, 2022, at age 35 on his 8th professional MMA fight at UFC 281 after defeating a 33-year old Israel Adesanya via 5th-round TKO. Pereira's last fight was a light-heavyweight title fight against Magomed Ankalaev for Ankalaev's UFC Championship title on October 3, 2025, where he stopped Ankalaev via TKO and was crowned the new light-heavyweight UFC champion.

Pereira's fight history includes notable matches against Jamahal Hill, Magomed Ankalaev, Jiří Procházka, Khalil Rountree Jr., Israel Adesanya, Sean Strickland, and Andreas Michailidis. Ciryl Gane is a French professional mixed martial artist born on April 12, 1990. He is currently competing in the Heavyweight division of the UFC, where he is a former Interim UFC Heavyweight Champion. Gane has a professional MMA record of 12 wins and 2 losses as of December 2024, and he is ranked #1 in the UFC heavyweight rankings as of June 24, 2025. He made his professional debut in 2014 and has since transitioned to MMA, showcasing his skills in various combat sports.

In March 2015, Zikalala is alleged to have submitted a false affidavit to the Master of the High Court in Pietermaritzburg, falsely claiming she was eligible for appointment as executor of the estate of the late Nqobile Minenhle Ndlovu and falsely claiming to be her biological mother.
