 A major four-day Rand Water maintenance operation is scheduled from May 29 to June 2, 2025, which is expected to cause significant water disruptions across parts of Germiston, Bedfordview, Edenvale, and Kempton Park. Residents are urged to prepare for intermittent water supply disruptions, as water tankers will be deployed to affected communities. The maintenance aims to improve plant availability and reliability, and it is expected to affect several suburbs, including reduced water pressure and temporary outages.
