René Müller murder: Husband abandons bail

Werner Müller (43) appeared in the Secunda Regional Court on Tuesday 28 April 2026 and abandoned his bail application.

Müller is accused of the murder of his wife, René Müller (44).

René’s body was discovered on April 13 at approximately 12:30, concealed in a bag in a locked outside room of her townhouse in Danie Theron Street.
She had been stabbed multiple times.

The matter has been postponed to June 25, pending further investigation into DNA results, video footage, and witness statements.
