WANTED for the MURDER of Alwelina Garre (24) on Saturday, 11 April 2026

Kagisho Detectives in the Northern Cape are investigating a case of murder following the alleged fatal stabbing of Alwelina Garre (24) on Saturday, 11 April 2026 at approximately 01:00.

It is reported that the deceased was walking from a tavern in Promiseland. An argument ensued between the deceased and a suspect about beer that reportedly led to the fatal stabbing.
The deceased succumbed to her injuries on the scene.

Police are looking for a person of interest who can assist with the investigation. He believed to be a Lesotho National known as Setena Koneshe.
