📍 #Boksburg – road markings are underway along Pretoria and Rondebult, including Leeuwpoort from Da Gama to Konig Street, making roads clearer and safer for all.
📍 #Thembisa – crews are busy with road markings at Seagull Street (Lekaneng section), Sun Street (Kopanong section), Mduduzi Street, and in Delmore (Kanana & Delmore informal settlement).
📍 #Springs – stormwater systems are being cleared to prevent flooding and keep water flowing.

 Tuesday 21 April 2026 NPA WELCOMES LIFE SENTENCES IN DEADLY UPINGTON ROAD RAGE DOUBLE MURDER AND ATTEMPTED MURDER CASE Upington, Northern Cape – The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) welcomes the sentence imposed on John Ivan Francious Mouton (50), a resident of Upington, who was convicted by the High Court in Upington on two counts of murder and four counts of attempted murder following a tragic and senseless incident arising from a road collision. The matter stems from events that unfolded in the early hours of 17 December 2022. The accused was involved in a motor vehicle collision with Joshua Rock. Following the collision, he retrieved a firearm from his vehicle and threatened Rock. The three appeared at the Rustenburg Magistrates Court on Monday, 25 May Police on Saturday said that the 48-year-old taxi boss was shot multiple times while sitting in his vehicle. He was talking to two other people in his car when the shooting occurred. The suspects were caught after a member of the police’s mounted unit was working nearby and saw two suspects fleeing after the shots were fired. The police officer saw the suspects get into a white Suzuki car, which was waiting for them. “The suspects drove off with the vehicle, but were intercepted and arrested at the corner of Oliver Tambo and Bosch Streets in Rustenburg by mounted unit members, who were coordinated by their observant colleague,” the police said.
