Our teams are working to manage a power fault and keep the supply going where possible across the network.
🔧 What’s the issue?
There is a fault on a main power cable between substations, and the system doesn’t have enough capacity right now. So we are rotating power between areas to reduce pressure while repairs are underway.
✅ Power restored to:
• Roodekop Industrial
• Leondale
• Roodekop Ext 25
• Roodekop Ext 31
⏳ Areas currently off until 18:00 (rotation in place):
• Phumula
• Mapleton Ext 10
• Leondale Gardens
• Rondebult Ext 22 & 23
🔄 This load rotation will continue until the fault is fully repaired.
