[MISSING PERSON] The Mangaung Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit is appealing to the community for assistance in locating 13-year-old Karabo Tsupane, who has been reported #missing.


It is alleged that on Saturday, 11 April 2026, at approximately 17:00, Karabo left her place of residence accompanied by a 10-year-old relative. The 10-year-old returned home to Phase 9 on Sunday morning, 12 April 2026, to retrieve a cellphone.

The younger relative alleged that they had spent the previous night at a residence in Phase 9. Karabo reportedly walked the child back to a street corner near their home on Sunday morning, stating that she was returning to a friend’s house and would be back by 11:00. However, she never returned home and has not been seen since.

Police have conducted follow-up investigations at the house where the children allegedly stayed, as well as extensive searches throughout Phase 9, Phase 10, and Bergman Square, but all efforts to locate her have thus far been unsuccessful.

The 13-year-old Karabo Tsupane was last seen on Sunday, 12 April 2026, in the vicinity of Phase 9, Mangaung, wearing the clothes she has on in the provided picture.

We urge anyone with information regarding Karabo Tsupane’s whereabouts to contact the Mangaung FCS Unit, Sergeant Matlale Sello, on 071 331 8880, or call the SAPS #CrimeStop number at 08600 10111, or submit an anonymous tip-off on the #MySAPSApp.
