Institut Le Rosey in Switzerland is often called the “school of kings” because it has historically attracted royal families, nobility, and children of influential figures. Tatler Asia notes that the school has long drawn students from “wealthy and influential backgrounds worldwide—European royalty and nobility; the offspring of politicians and discerning stars.”

It is one of the world’s most exclusive boarding schools, with a student body representing over 70 countries, but with a strict rule that no more than 10% of students can come from any one nation.
