37-year-old Dikgang Amos Mofokeng to an effective 39 years direct imprisonment for charges of rape

The Sasolburg Magistrate’s Court has convicted and sentenced 37-year-old Dikgang Amos Mofokeng to an effective 39 years direct imprisonment for charges of rape, assault with intent to cause grievous bodily harm (GBH), and robbery.
The case was assigned to Detective Sergeant Agnes Mankge of the Zamdela Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences (FCS) Unit. Through dedicated investigative work, Sergeant Mankge gathered critical evidence that led to the arrest and successful prosecution of the accused.
