**SUCCESS REPORT – 7 JUNE 2026**

**Vehicle Theft Syndicate Stopped in Their Tracks**
On Sunday, 7 June 2026, security units were monitoring the car show event in Benoni when members noticed suspicious activity in the parking area.
Units immediately moved in to investigate. Thanks to the rapid response and excellent cooperation between various security and vehicle tracking companies, all vehicles targeted by the suspects were recovered on the scene before they could be taken.
The suspects arrived in two vehicles, of which one was recovered on scene. The recovered suspect vehicle contained four sets of false registration plates as well as numerous vehicle computer modules and electronic equipment believed to be linked to vehicle theft activities.
Unfortunately, the main suspects managed to evade arrest and remain outstanding. Investigations are continuing.
This operation once again highlights the value of proactive monitoring, strong partnerships, and swift communication between security stakeholders.
