SAPS THABONG SEEKS PUBLIC ASSISTANCE TO REUNITE ELDERLY MAN WITH HIS FAMILY


 Police are urgently appealing to the public for assistance in locating the family or relatives of an elderly man who is currently being temporarily housed at the police station.

​The 60-year-old man, identified as Xolani Valashiya, was brought to the Thabong Police Station after he was found wandering and appearing highly disoriented last night in the cold. While communication has been difficult, Mr. Valashiya frequently mentions the Eastern Cape, suggesting that his family or primary residence may be located within that province.
Anyone who recognizes Mr. Xolani Valashiya, or has any information that could help reunite him with his family, is urgently requested to contact Thabong Police Station directly on 082 848 8120.
​Alternatively, members of the community can share information via the SAPS Crime Stop number on 08600 10111 or submit a tip-off via the MySAPS App.
