🛠️ Ekurhuleni technicians responded to a complaint of a power outage affecting multiple houses at Kgotso street in 📍 #Thokoza, successfully restored power to affected customers following the replacement of a faulty fuse.
🛠️ Technicians are conducting fault finding on a protection circuit between 88kv Rietfontein feeder and Long Ave incomer, Esselen Park.
🛠️ An electrician attending to a reported section power outage on Berkeley Street in Albertsdal is currently replacing a defective contactor.
🛠️ Fault location causing a power outage affecting multiple customers at Cortina, Eden Park is in progress. No estimated restoration time is available at this stage.
🛠️ Technicians have replaced burned wires and switched back on power at Bakerton, Springs.
🛠️ The team is joining the feeder cable affecting 7th Street in #Springs CBD
🛠️ Outdoor busbars hot connect repairs are in progress at the 2nd Input substation in #Germiston

The matter stems from events that unfolded in the early hours of 17 December 2022. The accused was involved in a motor vehicle collision with Joshua Rock. The three appeared at the Rustenburg Magistrates Court on Monday, 25 May Police on Saturday said that the 48-year-old taxi boss was shot multiple times while sitting in his vehicle. He was talking to two other people in his car when the shooting occurred. The suspects were caught after a member of the police’s mounted unit was working nearby and saw two suspects fleeing after the shots were fired. The police officer saw the suspects get into a white Suzuki car, which was waiting for them. “The suspects drove off with the vehicle, but were intercepted and arrested at the corner of Oliver Tambo and Bosch Streets in Rustenburg by mounted unit members, who were coordinated by their observant colleague,” the police said.
