  REIGER PARK SHOOTING ACCUSED APPEARS IN COURT, ALLEGES BRUTAL ASSAULT IN POLICE CUSTODY Twenty-four-year-old Jamal Meyer appeared in the Boksburg Magistrate’s Court on Tuesday facing serious charges, including murder, attempted murder, robbery, and the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition. Meyer and 23-year-old Cheslyn Collis have been linked by the State to a fatal shooting in Reiger Park earlier this month. The two Anti-Gang Unit officers were reportedly responding to reports of gunfire when they came under attack.
